Net Zero – what does it mean?

Net Zero in short –

Net zero refers to the state where the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere is equal to the amount removed from it. It’s like a balance between the emissions we produce and the emissions we eliminate.

When we achieve net zero, the overall impact on the climate is minimized because we are not adding any additional greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming. It’s an important goal in the fight against climate change and involves reducing emissions as much as possible and using methods to remove or offset the remaining emissions.
